Construction Education
Shaping Tomorrow’s Homebuilders
Education is where communities and careers begin to take shape. Kara Bolton believes that some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the classroom—on active job sites where plans, materials, and teamwork come to life.
Kara regularly welcomes students to her construction sites, offering real-world experiences that complement academic instruction. From University of Florida M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management students to members of the National Association of Women in Construction UF Student Chapter, these tours provide hands-on exposure to the building process, professional problem-solving, and the realities of working in the field.
These experiences reflect Kara’s long-standing commitment to workforce education, mentorship, and opening doors for the next generation of builders—especially women entering the construction industry. As Kara Bolton Homes expands into the Outer Banks, this commitment continues, with plans to create new learning opportunities and mentorship pathways that support both students and the local workforce.
